Proudly presenting our panel of adjudicators for the 2015 Inspiring Youth Awards. Our adjudicators are young and vibrant personalities who are great examples of dedication, perseverance, passion, talent, and determination. They are living proof that no one is ever too young to make a difference and that one can achieve their goals through hard work and commitment. Our adjudicators specialize in different fields and are known for their individual expertise but there is one thing common among them that stands out: They recognize the value of our youth and appreciate the tremendous power that they have to make a difference!
We are very privileged to present our highly esteemed panel of adjudicators.
As a singer, model, and television presenter, Frankie Cena has loved the spotlight from a very young age.
Our 2015 Inspiring Youth Awards Adjudicator Frankie believes in following your dreams, no matter how unconventional they may be. It is this philosophy that has allowed Frankie to balance a career as an international speech and debate coach, as well as an Entertainer.
In 2012, Frankie obtained his largest title as Mr. World Canada. Beating out several hopefuls, he would go on to represent his nation at the world’s largest competition of its kind. Frankie became Mr. World Talent and went on to place in the Top 10 overall, despite being the shortest male in the history of the event. Shortly after his reign began, Frankie became the only Canadian selected among thousands of North Americans to be featured in American Eagle’s 2013 Back to School Campaign. His campaign photos were seen in stores around the world. Just one year later, in 2013, Frankie recorded his first single, “On Top of the World”, a touching song paying tribute to his struggles and resolution as an artist. One of the lines in his song, “if ever one door closes, knock it down”, is a motto that he chooses to live by.
Although Frankie passed on his title, his Mr. World career was not over yet. In 2014, Frankie began his professional television-presenting career as the competition’s co-host. He was privileged to work along side Miss World Megan Young and was also able to perform his original song. At the end of 2014, Frankie received another call from the Miss World Organization to work as the Web Presenter for Miss World 2014, the world’s oldest and largest beauty pageant, featuring over 120 women from around the world. Frankie worked for one month, in London, England, interviewing the women and presenting the daily scoop on the competition. Frankie was also one of the four presenters of the finale night, broadcast live worldwide alongside, Tim Vincent, Megan Young, and Steve Douglas. In 2015, Frankie was hired for his first ever, International Speaking Engagement. Frankie traveled to Naga City in the Philippines to deliver a keynote address at the convocation ceremony for Brentwood College of Asia International School.
In his spare time, Frankie coaches high school speech and debate, and his students have won numerous awards throughout the world. He enjoys sharing his experience and mentoring other young hopefuls as they begin their own careers in the music and presenting industry. He also enjoys fitness, spending time with his friends and family, and traveling. His motto, “Find Your Voice; It Matters”, perfectly illustrates his passion for inspiring youth and also using his voice as a speaker and singer.
Frankie is our third guest in the history of the eveRIAthing show and was featured in September 2013. Frankie is a symbol of determination and perseverance who has never sat on his laurels, considering his amazing vocal talent and personality. He is a great example of how one should never stop at what they have because there is always something good out there if you keep on going. Here is Frankie's eveRIAthing episode, titled STAYING COMPETITIVE.

We had the privilege to feature Camille in an interview in 2014 during the Miss World Canada 2014 pageant week. Get to more about why this amazing lady is much respected and admired and why she continues to be a great role model for women:
Having built her career as a country singer-songwriter, Barrett-Stuart has since expanded her work to include author, entrepreneur, public speaker and (most recently) Founder of the Sparkle Project BC.
Spurned by the birth of her daughter three years ago, as a new mom she found that painful memories from her own girlhood were brought into focus. Consequently, this inspired her to offer self-esteem and goal-setting workshops for young girls and she set to work to create approachable and fresh resources that tap into a young woman’s aspirational side.
Ultimately, this led to the birth of the Sparkle Project BC, a movement that seeks to inspire and equip young girls to lead healthy, self-confident, and successful lives. Kristal released her first album "High on Life" in 2007, followed by an EP in 2011 including her single and music video "Girl In A Car" she has been nominated for numerous BC Country Music Awards and is excited to release her newest empowering anthem (co-written and produced by Carolyn Dawn Johnson. Partial proceeds from all things sparkle (Book, song, merchandise and workshops) are helping fund bursaries for young women in need of financial assistance to develop their talents and pursue their interests and dream. This song brings a whole new meaning to a radio release. It's time to empower our girls and spread some sparkle!
We are very fortunate to have another very inspiring and empowering personality on our panel who puts focus on building a strong foundation for the young so that they are fully equipped to face a better future.
Holly Barkwell is an actress in the Vancouver Film & TV Industry.
Holly started in theatre, after being awarded a bursary scholarship in Saskatchewan at her high school graduation, to attend a French studies program in QC. It was here, that she took her first theatre course, little did she know that it would be the start to a lifelong passion.
From Quebec, she moved to BC discovering a thriving film community where she continued her education. She continues to gain invaluable life and work experience, working in television & on numerous commercials, independent feature films, student projects through UBC, Capilano, and SFU.
Every experience provides new opportunities to learn, network, and create the ability for Holly to continue to develop her craft. She is so thrilled that the most important role she ever took on in her life, as a mom, to three beautiful children, is now becoming a family endeavour as her children are showing an interest in film/TV.
We met this amazing, down-to-earth actress during the Miss World Canada 2014 pageant and through time, have grown to know her even more as a person. Holly's very humble demeanour despite her success makes her a valuable part of our judging panel as we focus on values, inspiration and positive contributions.
